The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center strives to provide primary prevention education and informational materials regarding sexual assault to students and staff in area schools, various community groups and professionals associated with these issues. CMSAC also provides services to individuals or families who may be uncomfortable utilizing local programs due to community size, concerns regarding confidentiality, or are from surrounding communities that do not have access to such services.

Available Resources include brochures, informational packets, audio cassettes, books, and videos. Some materials are free and others may be checked out.

Presentations can be provided for employment settings, religious or spiritual groups, and other groups and organizations. Education is available for students of all grade levels in schools. We offer awareness education about general sexual assault, facts, safety issues, date/acquaintance rape, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, sexual harassment, and other relevant topics. Presentations will be developed to meet the specific needs of the school, class, or group.

The Center offers professional training for educators, social workers, law enforcement officers, medical personnel and others who want to increase their awareness, sensitivity, and effectiveness when working with victims/survivors of all types of sexual violence.
