There is currently a board of directors and nine paid staff members at the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center. These positions are Executive Director, Administrative Assistant, Client Service Coordinator, Youth Services Coordinator, System Liaison, Male Services Coordinator, Health Provider Education Coordinator, Multi-County Coordinator and a Licensed Social Worker. Their Goals are to assist and support individuals who have experienced sexual violence and address the impact and affects on their lives. They work to create a safe environment for individuals/communities in order to meet their own self-defined needs. These needs may change as an individual moves from the initial disclosure/discovery through the healing process and/or recovery. The staff support this human empowerment by providing access to educational, public policy and therapeutic support to meet the needs of those most vulnerable and affected by sexual violence and abuse. This agency continues to affiliate with organizations and individuals to develop, enhance, influence, and formulate public policy to protect and empower human dignity.
